Method

1Served at a bar called Nectar, in the Bellagio Resort Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, now defunct. Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a Martini glass. No garnish.

3Note: Sugar syrup is a solution of sugar and water that is cooked over low heat until clear, then boiled for a minute or so. I can be made in various densities:
4Thin: 3 parts water to 1 part sugar.
5Medium: 2 parts water to 1 part sugar.
6Heavy: Equal parts water and sugar.
